With Tanglewood’s open submissions policy, we receive hundreds of manuscripts each month. Submissions find our inbox from all over the world—44 different countries since January 2019! To help us read this bounty of stories, we appreciate the help of our editorial interns who thoughtfully consider and respond to each piece.
Melinda Peterson is our current reader, and she brings enthusiasm and a keen eye to manuscript deliberations. Melinda studies English, with an emphasis on professional and public writing, at Butler University. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of Manuscripts, Butler’s student-run literary magazine.
