As we approach 2020, Tanglewood is excited to share some news about the diverse, inspiring, and funny books we’re working on for next year, including a long awaited paperback edition for a classic children’s book.
Here’s a taste of what’s coming…
The Bookweaver’s Daughter (winner of the Scholastic National Medal), a YA fantasy tale of magic, sacrifice, and Indian mythology by a young debut Indian-American author.
We also have a very funny illustrated chapter book series—LIEographies—by the hilarious and gifted Alan Katz, featuring a selection of three playful upside down biographies of famous historic figures: Amelia Earhart, Babe Ruth, and Thomas Edison.
Also, we hope that you’ll be as thrilled as we are that for the first time ever Tanglewood will be offering a paperback edition of the New York Times bestselling classic, The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. Many booksellers and fans have been asking for this for a long time.
Finally, we’re honored to give testament to the amazing and iconic Eva Mozes Kor, who recently passed away—but her message of forgiveness lives on. Eva’s true account of all she and her twin sister endured at the hands of Dr. Josef Mengele in Auschwitz and in the years after, Surviving the Angel of Death, will be revised and updated to include an Afterword with news, images, and more about her many astounding accomplishments during the last 10 years of her life.
